What you need to know.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Glass recycling: ANCI-CoReVe tender launched<\/strong> addressed to the Municipalities for the development and implementation of a more effective, more efficient, more economical, more transparent, and quality collection system. <strong>Deadline, funds raised, eligibility requirements<\/strong>Questions and answers in our article!<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>Why the ban?<\/h5>\n<p>Although our country is among the most virtuous in Europe when it comes to glass recycling, the comparison between territorial and national data shows a <strong>Worrying gap<\/strong>The regions of the Centre and South are struggling compared to those of the North, to such an extent that every year there is talk of at least 300,000 tonnes of recyclable glass packaging being collected indiscriminately, and thus illegally destined for landfill, with alarming consequences both economically and environmentally.<\/p>\n<p>In this context, the\u2019<strong>Agreement signed between the National Association of Italian Municipalities and the Glass Recovery Consortium <\/strong>To support local authorities on a path of growth and <strong>improvement of their long-term glass collection systems<\/strong> and <strong>reduce the gap between the North and South of Italy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Subject of the agreement <strong>two tenders<\/strong> The <strong>North Band<\/strong>, zone 1, directed at Aosta Valley, Piedmont, Liguria, Lombardy, autonomous provinces of Trento and Bolzano, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Umbria and Sardinia; and the <strong>South Stand<\/strong>, Zone 2, serving Lazio, Marche, Abruzzo, Molise, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria, Sicily and Campania), of <strong>Grant co-financing<\/strong> <strong>intended for Municipalities or Management Companies<\/strong>, for a <strong>total investment of approximately 10 million euros<\/strong>, with the aim on the one hand of <strong>To develop and increase the separate collection system for glass packaging waste<\/strong>, on the other hand <strong>increase the flows and improve the quality of the collection itself<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Both tenders have <strong>30 June 2023 expiry<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>Which interventions are eligible for funding?<\/h5>\n<p>The ANCI-CoReVe calls provide for an investment of approximately 10 million euros to be used for the development and implementation of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>glass packaging waste separate collection systems,<\/li>\n<li>territorial projects for the same purpose,<\/li>\n<li>Communication projects for the development of separate collection of glass packaging waste.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Specifically, the <strong>eligible interventions<\/strong> interests:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the\u2019<strong>purchase of equipment <\/strong>(bins, wheeled bins, skips, bell-shaped containers, etc.) <strong>necessary for the passage<\/strong> to a separate collection service for glass packaging waste, including therefore a door-to-door service *;<\/li>\n<li>the\u2019<strong>Purchase or replacement of equipment <\/strong>(bins, wheeled bins, skips, bell-shaped containers, etc.) <strong>necessary for the enhancement of the existing<\/strong>*;<\/li>\n<li>the\u2019<strong>implementation of territorial projects<\/strong> for the same purposes, namely the design, technical support and start-up for the earthing of equipment or for the implementation of a new collection method*;<\/li>\n<li>the <strong>Communication project implementation<\/strong> for the development of separate collection of single-material glass packaging waste by Municipalities or delegated bodies, in agreement with CoReVe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>* Co-financing is provided at a rate of 70% of the expenditure incurred, subject to a maximum amount of \u20ac100,000 (including VAT) per project, and subject to the availability of funds.<\/p>\n<p>** Co-financing is provided at a rate of 70% of the expenditure incurred, subject to a maximum amount of \u20ac30,000 (including VAT) per project and subject to the availability of the four allocated funds<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>Who are the beneficiaries?<\/h5>\n<p>It is important to clarify this point!
