March 2026 – Sikuel – Maggioli Group (www.sikuel.it), a vertical IT company focused on digital transformation for the Water, Waste, and Bioenergy Utilities sectors, announces the launch of the new release of K-Biomet, which is enriched with new features with the’Innovative business module.

The aim of the new release is to offer a control interface based on economic data derived from the operational management of the plants. Production data are no longer just technical figures, but become tools for cost control. This allows for real-time monitoring of the actual profit per plant and for intervention on margins.
Among the main features introduced:
- Financial Performance P&L: the system transforms technical data into a true dynamic Income Statement. The system cross-references variable production costs with revenues, allowing for control over production margins or the identification of inefficiencies that erode EBITDA.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: The Budgeting function allows you to set clear economic goals and constantly compare them with actual data (Actual vs. Budget). Furthermore, through Forecasting algorithms, K-Biomet can simulate the impact of variations in biomass or energy costs, projecting the plant's production and profitability trends in the following months.
- Dashboard KPI: A single summary dashboard that aggregates volumes, production, and logistics movements, translating them into financial performance indicators to support management decisions.
A complete modular ecosystem for the plant
The new financial layer is grafted onto a scalable and natively modular SaaS architecture, conceived to facilitate both the individual producer and multi-site operations. K-Biomet covers every stage of the industrial cycle: the Sustainability Module ensures regulatory compliance (DM 07/08/2024 and UNI TS 11567:2024), supports the drafting of the Mass and Sustainability Balance Sheet, and includes recipe planning, integration of field data up to the control of storage logistics (with FIFO/LIFO logic) and agricultural land through geofencing and management of the nitrogen fraction of digestate pursuant to DM 25.02.2016 and subsequent amendments. The Logistics Module transform each phase of collection, movement, and spreading into an automated and customisable process coordinated remotely via K-Biomet APP. The system optimises journeys and minimises downtime, preserving the methanogenic power of the matrices. Sales module optimise stock rotation and certify data directly at the loading point, ensuring maximum transparency for the buyer, who has a dedicated area to manage bookings and documents autonomously. The platform's offering is completed by bioinformatics support and dedicated assistance designed to support staff in their digital transition.
