Sequel with Salesforce for innovation in Public Administration and Multi-utilities: the Taranto case

In response to requests for adjustments, in recent years the public bodies and the multi-utilities they showed specifics needs, above all: one Scalable system which ensures they have a rapid ability to adapt to regulatory and administrative changes; a solution which ensures they have quick and efficient integration between the existing IT infrastructure (ERP and billing systems) and new technologies, such as real-time satellite localisation, Smart Metering and the Internet of Things; a system that guarantees Data security through the indicators of the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), the global organisation – of which Sikuel is a member – dedicated to defining and raising awareness of practices to ensure a secure cloud computing environment.

 

Sikuel chooses Salesforce

Sikuel, a Maggioli Group company, confirms its technological path by choosing Salesforce, to guarantee its clients a path of technological innovation and IT development for the growth of core business activities. Specifically, in Sikuel one felt the need to lean on a reliable platform on which to base the entire development activity, ensuring the necessary operational flexibility in terms of the number of users connecting to the PA or utility websites and the functionalities they provide. The solution chosen was Salesforce's Heroku Private Space product.

Among Sikuel's latest affiliations, which attest to the quality of its work, the Taranto case stands out: the Kyma Ambiente, the company that manages waste collection services for the over 200,000 inhabitants of the Campania municipality, has indeed digitised the 6 ecological islands with the Suite K-TARIP which, among other advantages, allows the acquisition of contributions to calculate the relevant premium for each user. In a few weeks, the digitalisation of the service has been well received by both the public, who, thanks to the ease, practicality and speed of using the APP, have become increasingly inclined to use it, and by the operators of the recycling centres who, through the software, can save the data of users who deposit segregated waste onto an online platform.“K-TARIP software from Sikuel confirms excellent expectations for urban waste management – states lawyer Giampiero Mancarelli, president of Kyma Ambiente. From January 2022, operators of Ecological islands At Kyma Ambiente, it is used to save data from users who deposit segregated waste onto an online platform. It's a genuine digital network that is complemented by the “K-Tarip” app, where citizens can view their deposit history, which will lead to a discount on the TARI (waste tax). Over 100,000 deposits have been managed by Kyma Ambiente from January to date, and we can have this data thanks to Sikuel.“
