ARERA – Waste Service Quality Data Collection – Extension 3 April 2020

UPDATE OF 17/03/2020
In consideration of the deferral of the deadlines set by the regulation for environmental and energy services in light of the COVID-19 emergency, as stated in the Authority's resolution of 12 March 2020, 59/2020/R/com, and taking into account the requests received from numerous parties, we hereby inform you that it is permitted to transmit the data and information required within the scope of the data collections “Quality of the integrated urban waste management service” and “Quality of the tariff management and user relations service”, initiated, respectively, with the determinations of 10 October 2019, 3/DRIF/2019, and 18 December 2019, 4/DRIF/2019, by 3 April 2020 at the latest.


UPDATE OF 28/02/2020

Extension until 16 March 2020 of the deadline for waste service quality questionnaires for Municipalities carrying out collection and transport activities and/or street sweeping.
 
UPDATE OF 28/01/2020
the deadlines for complying with the obligations to transmit data and information concerning the quality of the tariff management and user relations service have been extended to 18 February 2020.

For operators carrying out the activity of tariff management and customer relations
DETERMINATION NO. 4/DRIF/2019

REQUIREMENTS PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF 5 APRIL 2018, 226/2018/R/RIF
Waste Service Quality Data Collection
This data collection, to be sent no later than 31 January 2020, is for the purpose of:
a) identify the indicators and quality standards guaranteed by the operators for the tariff management and user relations activity and verify the relative application methods, including the management of cases of non-compliance with standards due to reasons attributable to the operator;
b) verify the dissemination of the Service Quality Cards;
c) identify any relationships between the service organisation model and the quality actually provided by the operator;
d) carry out the necessary assessments to regulate the quality of the tariff management and user relations service, identifying possible areas for homogenisation and efficiency improvement of the current standards in order to facilitate the adoption of mandatory and homogeneous quality standards throughout the national territory;
The compilation of the aforementioned files must be accompanied, among other things, by:
– a declaration, pursuant to Presidential Decree 445/00, signed by the legal representative, certifying the truthfulness of the data transmitted, drafted according to the model provided by the Authority;
– an accompanying report, aimed at acquiring detailed information that the interested party deems functional for a correct understanding of the information and data transmitted;
OBVIOUSLY, before proceeding to upload the data and information of the aforementioned collection, interested parties are required to register in the Authority's Operator Register;
